  • Founded in 1934 the Orchestre National de France was the first permanent symphony orchestra established in France. Since then, it has been led by some of the world's greatest names in music including Lorin Maazel, Charles Dutoit, Kurt Masur and Daniele Gatti. Emmanuel Krivine was appointed music director from 2017/18 season.

    Under Emmanuel Krivine, the orchestra's first French Music Director in forty years, Intermusica renews its touring relationship with ONF from 2017 having previously delivered performances at the BBC Proms and in Spain, Luxembourg, the UK and the Netherlands over the past 10 years.

Return to Asia with Emmanuel Krivine

After an absence of eight years the Orchestre National de France will return to Asia in 2018 under the direction of their new Principal Conductor Emmanuel Krivine, the orchestra's first French music director in over 30 years.
